Dear “Experts,” the Only Secret to Writing is to Actually Write, and You Know It

I have no interest helping those who prey on dreams to become successful. Writing is about discipline, continual improvement, and consistency. Period.

Discipline is key.

The rest, well …

Look. I live the writer’s life, full-time, and have done so for what’s narrowing in on 20 years.

I don’t sell any courses. I do appear as a guest at writers conferences, as my output includes several published books, sold films and television shows, and well over a thousand articles. As checks are frequently spread far apart in my main business, I stay busy by stirring the pot here, writing on NewsBreak, etc.

No excuses. I’m a married man with bills, including a nice house in Northridge, California, a new Jeep, and some toys. I create opportunities for myself and those with whom I’m close because I write with no excuses.
