For Medium Contributors Having Issues With Stripe Payouts: Don’t Panic
Stripe does not have a phone line for specific payout issues, as I have learned. Personal record-keeping will help settle the matter.
I awoke on the morning of August 8, sat by my iPad and checked my bank account balance. My Medium payment was not yet deposited; no big deal. I did, however, look on the Partner Program page of this platform and noticed payments were scheduled to go out by the 10th.
I was used to receiving a deposit on or by the 8th of every month. Perhaps the payout dates were changed; again, no big deal.
I never before had an issue with a Medium payout. Just a normal course of business, I figured.
Further, as you can see the page does say payouts may take 5 to 7 business days to appear in your bank account.
Okay. Not a problem. My July due payment was not that much anyway. I was not going to go broke having to wait another few days.
But then, those days passed. Nothing on the 11th, nothing on the 12th, nothing on the 13th.
