Have We Been Incorrectly Defining the Nature of “Coincidence” All Along?
Second question: Is there a remote possibility the concept is, in essence, supernatural?
Introduction
We have all experienced them, unexpected callbacks to past events that appear to correspond with present circumstances. “Déjà vu,” we call the phenomenon. Sometimes those callbacks — perceived as such by any of one’s five senses — can appear miraculous in nature.
Can we explain it? No, but the sensation of déjà vu is very real.
Would it be an oxymoron, then, to state the nature of coincidence too may be organic but is likewise supernatural — perhaps miracles are as well — and thereby unable to explain with the tools with which we were born?
Supernatural, that is, being the realm of those inscrutable universal mysteries far more complex than any man-made computer could even one day solve.
That’s the thesis, and I am going to delve deep.
