And now for something completely different (and admittedly not in the finest taste at first blush but I promise there are deeper meanings to follow)…

Firstly, in the interest of doubt, the word “sleep” in this piece’s title is a euphemism for “intercourse.” I simply ran out of space.

Sex. A favorite topic between the closest of acquaintances, but in today’s climate we need to be exceptionally careful as to who we engage on the matter.

I received permission to post this article from the subject herself: a woman I trust with my life. She feels the same about me, and so I will keep her safely anonymous.

Although it may not seem as such initially, due to what will be for some an unseemly subject matter, what will transpire from here is an essay about respect and communication.
